About
Mission
I aim to empower athletes to find their inner edge and elevate their performance by enhancing their mental game. Recognizing the impact of mental resilience on success, I am committed to providing athletes with the tools they need for effective practice, competition, and recovery. Using a holistic approach and evidence-based techniques, I help athletes improve their mental performance and thrive in their athletic journey.
My Story
I’m Trent Troncone, Mental Performance Coach, M.S. in Sport and Performance Psychology from California Baptist University. I have over 16 years of athletic experience, including a collegiate baseball career at Arizona Christian University and high school achievements at Claremont High School.
As a former competitive baseball player, I’m well-acquainted with the daily mental and physical demands on athletes. Over the past 2 years, I’ve been working with youth, high school, and collegiate athletes across Southern California, focusing on enhancing mental skills both individually and in team settings. My goal is to help athletes and performers unlock their full potential in all arenas of competition.

Why Mental Performance Matters

The mind is the most powerful tool an athlete has, but how often do you spend mentally training? The field of sport and performance psychology focuses on providing every performer the resources to power their inner edge by strengthening the ability to perform, as well as the ability to thrive. Physical and mental performance can be elevated in the mind-body connection through utilizing mental techniques and strategies to improve athletes’ levels of confidence, stress, anxiety, and motivation.
